Welcome—I'm glad you're here.
I’m an interdisciplinary artist and board-certified art psychotherapist who believes deeply in the healing power of creativity, connection, and supportive relationships. My work centers on trauma-informed art therapy for individuals 18+ and group art therapy for adults, offered in a collaborative studio environment where you can explore, express, and heal at your own pace.

As both an artist and therapist, I’m guided by a simple but transformative belief: we heal in relationship. When therapy becomes a compassionate partnership, it can create space for growth, understanding, and lasting change. Art-making is a powerful part of that process. It reaches the non-verbal places where fear and traumatic experiences are often held- offering new ways to communicate, move, imagine, and reconnect with yourself. You don’t need to be an artist to benefit from art therapy; you only need curiosity and a willingness to explore.

My artwork and therapeutic practice are rooted in relational art, social practice, and community engagement. Growing up in Milwaukee and living in cities such as New York, Santa Fe, and Los Angeles have shaped how I see place, identity, and connection. Working alongside people from diverse backgrounds has added depth to my understanding of how creativity can build bridges- between individuals, communities, and parts of ourselves that have felt isolated or unheard. I’m particularly interested in how shared art-making can foster cultures of healing, resilience, and hope. How do we make art about pain without causing more pain? We do it together, through story, relationship, and connection.

While no set of labels fully defines me, transparency can help orient you to who I am in the therapeutic relationship. I am a white, cisgender, able-bodied, middle-class woman, partner, and mother of two, with Irish and Northern European ancestry. I hold a BFA in Sculpture from the College of Santa Fe and an MS in Art Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mount Mary University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin (8656-126) and a Registered Art Therapist (ATCB 19-454). I am also trained in EMDR.

Whether you're seeking support, exploring new ways to process trauma, or hoping to reconnect with creativity, you’re welcome here. I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you in your healing process.
